Who We Are
Testaforte Entertainment is based in New York. We make HTML5 games that play in a web browser. This policy covers this website (testaforte.dev) and our games.
The Short Version
Our games collect no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies on this site or in our games. We don't sell or share anyone's information.
Our Games
- Games may save scores, progress or settings in your browser's local storage (some use similar browser storage, such as session storage or IndexedDB). That data stays on your device. We never receive it. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
- Some current builds load fonts from Google Fonts, or a helper script from grok.com (the Grok app builder from xAI, which was used to make some of our games). When that happens, your browser connects to Google or xAI, which can see your IP address and browser details, as with any web request. We are removing these outside requests from our games as part of release cleanup, and will update this page when that is done.
This Website
- Hosting: The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. It also adds a small script that hides our email address from spam bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- No cookies or analytics: We don't use analytics, tracking cookies or ads. The cookie note at the bottom of our homepage is a joke. The only cookies here are the chocolate chip kind.
- Videos and images: Gameplay videos and screenshots are hosted on this site. Book cover images on the homepage load from Amazon's image servers (m.media-amazon.com). Links to Amazon and testafortebooks.com take you to sites with their own policies.
- Licensing form and email: If you use the licensing form, the email address and message you enter are sent to us through Google Forms and saved to a Google Sheet so we can reply. If you email us, we receive your email the usual way. We use this only to answer you. This is the only personal information we receive, and only when you choose to send it.
Game Portals and App Stores
When you play our games on a game portal or download them from an app store, that site's own privacy policy applies to anything it collects, including any ads, analytics or accounts it runs. Please check that site's policy.
Ads
We don't show ads now. If we ever add ads to this site or our games, we will update this policy first.
Children's Privacy
We don't collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Our games need no account and never ask for a name, email or other personal details, so they are COPPA-friendly. The licensing form is meant for businesses and adults. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
